As you can hear during this homily, St Joseph is one of my favorite saints. For me, he is the BodyGuard of Mary and of Jesus. Here is a comment to follow up and expand my thoughts shared today. By being the guard of the body of Mary, and by taking her under his care, St Joseph protected Mary, and thus Jesus who was in her womb. He defended Mary and the fruit of her womb, thus protecting the cornerstone from being stoned to death which was the penalty to unfaithful woman.
